The horizontal drilling into the stone must’ve been a segmented drill, of course manually. That was the real dangerous part after those are installed you have something to brace yourself for the rest

I've been there before. It's in Dadong. The hanging temple was magnificent. I also instantly fell in love with the city. It's just really beautiful and full of culture.
