Vi muita gente crucificando a Maureen em No Mundo da Lua, mas eu tive outra visão. A Dani gostava muito do Court, isso é claro, mas em quase todo o filme ele deixa claro que não queria nada com ela. Mesmo antes da Maureen aparecer, ele nunca demonstrou sentir o mesmo. Teve o beijo, mas nem isso mudou o jeito dele. Pra mim, o que a Dani sentia era mais um amor de criança, de idealização — chamar pra nadar, querer estar junto — e não um amor realmente correspondido. Já com a Maureen é diferente. Dá pra ver que ela não se envolve fácil, e com o Court ela se entrega de verdade. Existe sentimento dos dois lados, é uma paixão correspondida. Isso não justifica o que ela fez, mas dá pra entender o conflito dela. Provavelmente ela via o sentimento da Dani como algo mais infantil. O filme mostra dois tipos de amor bem diferentes, e olhar isso não é passar pano, é só enxergar a história com mais nuance.

As a kid I was happy he got…hurt lol bc I was always mad he led Danni on but also mad that Danni never left him alone😂🤣this movie gave me so much emotions I didn’t like the older sister either😅
