This is valid, I've personally seen a dash mount navigation interrupt keyless entry signal with a remote until the navigation powered off.

It’s cause there’s an anti left chip in the keys and because the bling ring is metal it blocks the sensors and hence won’t let the car start

Sometimes it takes days or weeks for them to act up. Other times it's immediately. first thing I always looked at when I'd get a crank no start security code
