I heard most times they not broken but that they just need cleaned bc you supposed to break them down everyday and maintenance them but it never happens bc no one’s ever trained

At Wendy’s we just clean the ice cream machine every 2 days … stays clean and not moldy like the ice cream machines at McDonald’s (I also worked at mcdicks to much mold for my comfort)

I never lied to my customers when I worked there. If it was in heat cycle and couldn’t be drawn, I would tell em, if it was being cleaned, it’s almost never actually broken

where i used to work it was never broken, I wasn't taking orders but I'd see they'd lie. It's just being cleaned, waiting to be cleaned or stuck in heating mode most of the time.

The store I work at, literally only the gm and the assistant gm knows how to properly clean the machine. Every time someone is scheduled to learn to do so is rescheduled the same day
