YUP. they say it's very damaging to have "perfect" parents because it's an unrealistic standard to live up to..that's why it's important to be human around our kids &make mistakes/model how to fix it.

I was a nanny for over a decade and I always told parents "Do your best, they're still gonna end up in therapy anyways. You dont have to have a messed up childhood to get messed up from your childhood
