But of course, he didn’t hear, just sighed and snuggled even closer, as if I were his personal pillow. I felt his nose nuzzle into my hair, and he resumed his steady, warm breaths against my neck. “Not letting go,” he murmured, almost unintentionally, and I couldn’t help but smile, wrapping my hand around his and pulling it to my chest.
