@nrlphysio: Nathan Cleary will undergo a a latarjet shoulder reconstruction next week, which involves taking a bone graft from the front of the shoulder blade & attaching it to the joint to “deepen” the socket (⬆️ stability).⁣ ⁣ Risk of re-dislocation is very low (<5%) for this surgery type.⁣ ⁣ Usually a 4 month recovery - with 17 weeks til the Panthers are in #NRLVegas for Round 1 there’s a good chance Cleary’s available to start the season.⁣ ⁣ He returned in 5.5 months from a shoulder reconstruction in 2021 - but it also involved repair of his rotator cuff. #nrl #nathancleary
