@addictedtotools: What’s your thoughts on this one? I walked past it today and figured I’d give it a go as it’s a little different and not badly priced. It’s called the Airgrip Line Laser from RYOBI. It’s not self levelling so you will have to rely on your measurements and the bubbles to get it right. But it is straight and reaches 4mtrs with a 45degree adjuster.

Fair idea but easier to string a self leveling on a tripod. Good for niche use as a home owner but no good for the trades
