T1d for 20 years & used to run marathons! I’m 26 & on mobi. the one time I didn’t have a meter I regretted it b/c had a sensor error & it was so stressful! I would bring a site but no cartridge

I was a marathoner for almost a decade (pre t1d days) but don’t change much race day because you’ve been training in a specific manner for months. It’s gonna be wild no matter what so less variables!

During my half a few months ago my blood sugar randomly bottomed out. Never did that during any training run. So I guess my #1 advice is any gels you think are enough add 2 more haha🫰🏻excited for u!

👋 big time runner & T1D here! Firstly, Yes yes yes to having your pump/CGM on display! If the worst happens it’s an easy way to spot that your diabetic.
