That’s cuz Tarantino’s seeing it from a filmmaking perspective. Most of the people that don’t like it are comic fans whereas directors like Tarantino have openly hated on superhero movies so he doesn’t care if it’s not representing Joker properly

I think the movie’s pacing is just not good, the concepts are done really well, i love the musicals but the way some characters weave in and out of the plot doesn’t mesh well for a good watch
