All they did was play beat the bank. 😅 Like writing a check at a grocery store and then supposed to pay it off before the check posts but they had no intentions of paying it.

I recently deposited a check at my credit union bank. it read the check with the amount of $1500 but it was $500. I manually corrected it. It made me think about this Chase incident

Depositing a fraudulent check IS bank fraud, not a "glitch." The only glitch was a lack of system to prevent withdraws against unverfied checks. SMH

What I don't not understand is that when a large amount is deposited only a portion is released until verification unless you have the funds to back it, so how did they get so much?
