Glad this new method worked!! Advice from a professional baker: use a sheet tray, parchment paper and bake at 325 for 15 min from frozen. Never disappoints!

Your pan was probably fine, if anything you needed a *darker* pan. The light cooks hot and your temp was already too hot, esp with frozen cookies

As someone who worked in a bakery for over 4 years the pan does matter! Our newer pans(similar to yours) always cooked the cookies faster, we always used parchment paper and always froze the dough!

Dark pans do cook things quicker than lighter pans, using parchment isn’t a problem! I always bake at a lower temp for 10-12 minutes when I have it chilled in the fridge & frozen about 15 minutes!

it was most likely the temp and time with the other pan. the parchment paper isn't an issue. use the pan, use the parchment, try 350 or 12-13 min.
