I literally use the water that’s coming into the washer to clean the cap to get the rest of the detergent off the cup and then put it back on the jug I wouldn’t put those in my washer

you shouldn't do that, plastic breaks down and can get into, yes INTO your machine and ruin it. plastics are cheap and don't hold up
