I did all that for 10 years, and what I received in exchange was more workload and 0 promotions. And the guy who always come 5 minutes late and only do one task just got promoted same level as me.

Not anymore, you'll just be expected to work more for the same money as the people with lower productivity. It's also likely you'll miss out on promotions for outside hires.

😅 I did that for years. no promotion. 4x they gave a position to new hires or a coworker so inappropriate, he was transferred to another plant and I took over. it's insulting. done not getting mine.
