Proud of you for making the better decision for you & your kids. Not judging them either,yet they could sell the ps5, the bed,get a smaller tv, bunk beds & put them in the BR for safety. & them(LR).

Poor doesn’t mean you can’t take care of your kids.. they are loved and to me that’s what matters.. they have food and a roof over them.that’s more than some have who are homeless

My cousin is living like that now. They are in their 30's. He pressures her into buying the games. He gets down right disrespectful. 4 kids later, she works, he stays home. All Kids in school.

I lived in poverty as a young mom. Let my ex take all the money. He couldn’t keep a job either. Once I left him, never looked back. My kids never want or need for nothing now.
