Cherry season is still in full swing and these Chocolate Cherry Crinkle Cookies need to be top of your list to make this summer🍒 They’re so easy and so delicious, honestly one of my best🌞 The full recipe is below ⬇️ #chocolate #cherry #cookies #crinklecookies #ganache #cherryseason #cherries #EasyRecipe #EasyRecipes #bakingfromscratch #chocolatecookies #Summer #summerrecipes   (For the cookie dough) 60g unsalted butter, melted 100g caster sugar 110g dark brown sugar 3 medium eggs 185g plain flour 70g cocoa powder 1 tsp baking powder 200g icing sugar, to coat (For the cherry ganache filling) 200g dark chocolate  170g double cream 30g maraschino cherry juice (To decorate) Freeze dried cherry powder 1 tsp sea salt, to sprinkle Method: 1. In a large bowl, mix the butter, sugars and eggs until combined before sifting over the flour and cocoa powder. Form a dough and refrigerate until firm.  2. Once firm, roll into equal size balls and place onto a baking tray before refrigerating again. Once solid, roll in icing sugar and place onto a baking tray, with space enough for them to spread. Using a tbsp measure, make holes into the cookies for your ganache later. Bake for 15 minutes at 170c. Whilst still warm, remove compress any spread middles with the measure again. Leave to cool completely. 3. To make the ganache, pour the hot cream over the chocolate and leave to melt before combining together. It may need a first bursts in the microwave to completely homogenise. Pour in the cherry juice and stir to combine. Fill each cookie hole with the ganache before sprinkling over the cherry powder and some sea salt. Serve and enjoy!
