@pixieshreds: Pixie decided she was ready to try the 13.5 ft Vert drop-in on her own, without her Coach assisting her. The bravery this would have required is hard to comprehend. To then fall on your first solo drop-in, at 5 years old, would be very scary. Thankfully, Pixie was un-injured, not hurt and didn’t even waste any time crying. Back up the stairs she went, ready to try again…this time with Coach Tasman assisting. She bravely attempted it again and as Coach Tasman very wisely said to Pixie… ‘That will be the most important drop-in you ever do, Pixie’. 🫶🏽 There are so many important life-lessons we could learn from this. Failure is part of progress. Every fall is a lesson. Pixie does not give up. And neither should you!
