My dad never put me down directly. He always used supportive language and said he loved me, but then would put down everything I liked and was interested in as something that had no value or dangerous

EMDR has helped me do this and I’m working through PTSD as I am better equipped to identify and put to bed triggers. Highly recommend for trauma survivors.
