Calon Pimpinan (Capim) KPK Johanis Tanak menyatakan keinginannya untuk meniadakan operasi tangkap tangan (OTT) oleh KPK karena dinilai tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan dalam KUHAP. Menurut Johanis, OTT bertentangan dengan definisi tangkap tangan dalam hukum yang seharusnya terjadi spontan, bukan hasil operasi terencana.

Calon Pimpinan (Capim) KPK Johanis Tanak menyatakan keinginannya untuk meniadakan operasi tangkap tangan (OTT) oleh KPK karena dinilai tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan dalam KUHAP. Menurut Johanis, OTT bertentangan dengan definisi tangkap tangan dalam hukum yang seharusnya terjadi spontan, bukan hasil operasi terencana. "Jika saya menjadi Ketua KPK, saya akan menutup kegiatan OTT karena tidak sesuai dengan pengertian KUHAP," ujarnya dalam uji kelayakan dan kepatutan Capim KPK di Komisi III DPR RI, Selasa (19/11).
