Directed by F.W. Murnau and featuring Max Schreck’s chilling portrayal of the infamous Nosferatu, the film pioneered several cinematographic techniques, especially through its use of lighting and dramatic camera angles. Nosferatu has been remade numerous times, with a highly anticipated version by acclaimed horror director Robert Eggers set for release later this year, a testament to the film’s enduring legacy.
