I've seen this place in a documentary. A lady made those dolls to resemble the people who used to live there. And there's also a horror movie made in this village. Can't remember the title.

I know this place. it's like a memorial. whoever dies, you make a doll version of them, and put them in a seperate town with the other dolls. both sad and cool.

there's still few who lived there, i think due to the loneliness and missing the persons they know that used to live there and have moved places,so they made those dolls. its not abandoned tho
