A tracing of the fistula opening was performed using a 25 04 gutta-percha cone. The condition was diagnosed as a chronic periapical abscess. The causative tooth was opened, and the canal was enlarged with a 40 04 file. Calcium hydroxide was applied for one week, but the patient missed his appointment by 4 days, so the calcium hydroxide remained in the tooth for a total of 11 days. The patient returned without symptoms, and the fistula opening had closed. The canal was filled with Ceraseal sealer and gutta-percha, and the tooth was sealed with a composite filling. The patient will return in a month for a follow-up X-ray Fistula is better to be named as sinus tract
