@aprilajoy: and his 2nd term would be worse because he will be surrounded by yes men and he has the supreme court in his pocket. #kamala #voteblue #exvangelical #exgop #exconservative #aprilajoy
It's also wild that people who worked in that government are like "Please don't elect him he will be worse" and everyone is just ignoring it

which of the 2 most likely candidates would support rank voting which would in turn make voting 3rd parties feasible?

If it helps those who feel uneasy about Harris, just think of it as voting against Project 2025 and other such policies that the Republicans want to pass

Didn’t vote 2016 for the same reason. Voted Trump (religious indoctrination 🤢) in 2020. Didn’t make the same mistake and never will again.

I remember when he was trying to ban Muslims from coming into the country and I worked near the airport. There was a woman grabbing food before going to the protest at the airport bcause of his ban.

at the current point of our political history, one of the two major party candidates WILL be president, no matter how many or how few people don't vote. there's no threshold of the population a candidate has to get to in order to be qualified to win. it doesn't matter if 100% of eligible voters vote or 0.002% of eligible voters vote, the election will be considered valid and legal.
with that in mind, I urge anyone considering third party or abstaining from voting due to a crisis of conscience to reconsider. the only thing a person achieves by that is taking their small voice in this *completely* out. but the inauguration will still happen. taxes will still need to be paid. bills will still be signed into law. lives will still be profoundly impacted by the choices made in DC.
don't silence yourself! don't make yourself a bystander.

I’m not voting at all this election. I think it’s time liberals take accountability/self-reflection why they suck at democracy instead of thinking the world is against them. Acting spoilt like MAGA.

im wondering if most people pushing for third party were children during that time. cause if they were old enough to protest in 2020 i dont think they’d even humor these ideas. just a thought…
