@abc7la: The last time a Dodgers World Series parade was held in Los Angeles was in 1988. While the Dodgers won the World Series in 2020, there wasn’t a parade to due to COVID. Now, 36 years after these photos were taken, the Dodgers will cruise through downtown L.A. streets to celebrate their 8th World Series win in franchise history. The Dodgers parade will be Friday at 11 a.m. and will go from City Hall to the library. A rally at Dodgers Stadium will be held after the parade ends. In 1988 and 2024, the Dodgers won the World Series title in five games. #Dodgers #WorldSeries #throwbackthursday #dodgersparade
