My cavities that were filled with the silver are still good in my mouth 30+ years later, the new ones you do with the white, they don’t last at all.

my dentist doesn't like composite white fillings, they only do them in the front teeth, they say they do not last as long as amalgam fillings.

all us Medicaid kids from 90s-2000s still have these Medicaid didn't cover those white ones. mine are crumbling now and taking my teeth with them 😭

I have all my amalgam fillings still from the 90’s. Just regular care and dental work, nothing special to get there I don’t think. But I definitely believe I had good dentists 🤞

I have cement like fillings and I was a 90's child. One of them completely fell out in 2020 but the others have been in there for 20+ years.
