@melissabackwoodsss: From MKC comes the Wargoat! This knife is the first in the line of tactical knives from Montana Knife Company. When creating this blade, MKC worked closely with law-enforcement and active duty military personnel to create a blade that is meant to be used in life-threatening situations. First off, this knife is small enough to be concealed. It is very lightweight (2.2 ounces) so if someone is carrying this while deployed, it will not be too heavy in their rucksack. It also has a fingering, which adds security in the grip and is a good option to pull it out quickly for deployment (from the pocket, boot, or backpack). The blade has a Cerakote Coating on it, so it is not reflective in the sun (something that would give a soldiers location away in the battlefield). The G10 handle has a lot of fine machining diagonally across the scales. This is very grippy even when wet, so whether hands become sweaty (or God-forbid bloody), it will still feel secure. In a potentially life-threatening situation, you want a good steel. This is a big reason as to why they chose Magnacut for the Wargoat. Like all MKC Knives, every component of this knife down to the screws is made in the United States (even the screws). This all black version is my favorite along with the Coyote OD green version.
