There’s a litter box that you can get from Walmart, has really high walls, it’s perfect for cats like this. You can also try changing the litter, some cats find it uncomfortable to sit on course (1)

Everyone just for clarity, it’s a litter cupboard, this angle doesn’t show just how big it is inside! We had just traveled for 4 hours and his stream was very strong. They love their litter box!

part of the issue could be how enclosed that space is because it’s really not recommended for cats to have boxes with lids or boxes put in hidden spaces
