I’m so traumatized by a childhood dog passing from parvo I clocked it IMMEDIATELY in a dog right after I adopted it. So soon the vet even said it wasn’t parvo, until the test came back positive 😂

I don't think I'll ever be able to adopt a young puppy because of this. I lost two puppies to it, from two different adoption cases, it was awful. The dog that stuck with me was a puppy that 1/2

my brother had a lab that had Parvo as a puppy. she was sick for a day and she was good. I was very surprised as not many of her siblings made it. it was very heart wrenching to learn what parvo was.
