I actually stopped seeing my old therapist because we got too close. I had been seeing her for 8 years and we had a more “mother/daughter” relationship. I still miss her!

When you realize your therapist has your back more than 2 people you thought were your closest friends. Former friends wrote my therapist a letter trying to control me.
