My miracle IVF baby girl, who was so loved and wanted, ended in a late term abortion for medical reasons. It’s been 4 years and I still cry for her. Nobody wants this but it is medically necessary.

In Ireland we still call this kind of tragedy a miscarriage we don’t use the term late term abortion at all. Irish health professionals may correct. I’m so sorry for you and your family’s loss xx

I'm so sorry you had to go through this. I haven't heard a single LTA story that was done because a woman just didn't want a baby. It's awful people try to use it to rationalize taking our rights.

I lost my much prayed for IVF daughter in a TFMR at 25 weeks because she had severe issues that weren’t compatible with life 🙏🏼3 day labor and I ended up with septic shock in the icu . Not a choice.

Soooo, pitocin inducing labor is considered an abortion or did you take Misoprostol? I had an incompetent cervix at 22 weeks as well. I delivered my baby normally and held her as she met Jesus.

I am so, so sorry. I found out a very wanted preg ended up being a molar preg at 16 weeks and needed an immediate d&c on the very day indianas abortion ban went into place. Despite how dangerous a molar preg is, my insurance refused to pay as it was considered a late term abortion. It isn’tthe same by any means and I can’tfathom what you went thru but in a small way, I get it. And i wish stories like this didn’t happen but also wishthose whoneed education on thetopic would hear stories like this
