@mermaidshea: t just so happens that one year ago this week I made this little video (with a different caption). I was struggling with a lot both personally and professionally and was second guessing my decision to work as a full time content creator. We had recently bought a house, I was going into medical debt quickly, and just a few months before threw our safety net in the proverbial garbage. To be honest I was feeling a bit like garbage, that nagging little voice inside my head whispering to me all the reasons why I wasn’t good enough. This was a quick little video I made off the cuff (obviously, I hadn’t even brushed my hair yet 😂) and I posted it and thought nothing of it. About a week later it went super viral. I was hired for UGC work, my Amazon and personal sites exploded, and I did many, many deals and forged meaningful connections with people that are instrumental in my success today. Words matter. The words people say to us, the words we say to ourselves. I am baffled that in 2024 we live in a world where name calling and trash talking is the norm. This little video has reminded me and I hope to share with you that you are not garbage, you are a TREASURE and you deserve the life you dream of 🫶 xoxo, Shea
