I pay my drivers £14p/hr…….they want more, but the haulage industry must wake up and charge their customers a lot more £…..we cannot afford to pay until that happens

class 2 £18 an hour if people keep accepting low pay then nothing will change I will take £13 in a supermarket than £13 driving a truck

The he wages for truck drivers won’t change,to many young people think drivers are on big bucks so get into the business driving the rate down as they hey will drive for peanuts

I was a tramper for years the money does need to change its a skilled job which most drivers work over 40 hours in 3 days look at train drivers a maximum of 12 hours a day with 12hours rest on 50,000

I'm on £13:50 that's pretty good for my area but now the wage had gone up my hrs have gone down. so I'm no better off than I was on 12 an hr. jobs goosed. but we still earn more than the average jobs

my son works 12 hour shifts with brain damaged adults and only minimum wage , 2 great jobs that need more recognition 😊
