Hey man I have a 03 6.0. Having an issue with it running. It will start and idle fine for a bit but once I take off it’s like it isn’t getting enough fuel and the more i press the pedal the worse it runs. I can get up to 30 mph or so before it starts acting up bad enough to die. Then it won’t start back up unless I let it sit for 5 minutes or so. Then it will do the same. It seems the longer I let it sit the longer it will run. I’ve changed the fuel filter and the fuel water separator filter yesterday. Still acting up.

Love my 6.0 I run Detroit red antifreeze in it. The truck is a beast.

As a guy who works on 6.0s, maintenances is key. Being a heui system oil changes every 3-5k miles. Personally on mine I did an air to oil cooler and had been one of the best upgrades

It still blows me away that people change their oil at 15k I get terrified when any of my vehicles go 6k on an oil change

Used to run silicate free coolant in my 6.0 and my deltas never went above 10°

The 6.0 is the reason I converted to ford. Loved that truck, and never had an issue with the engine. Maintenance is key with any vehicle, if you don’t get that then you don’t deserve it.
