hi hvac dispatcher here. unless it's first call 8am or 7am it's IMPOSSIBLE to guess how long a repair will take before you. idk how people don't get this.

we had a surprise maitinence inspection on HALLOWEEN and only got notified 12 hours before hand. legal in Wisconsin. "between 9am-4pm" kick rocks 🙃

This happened to me once. Waited all day and no one showed. Called them and they were like ohhhh we had to cancel you sorry no one called.

windshield replacement time frame was 12-2. they showed up at 6pm. I was livid. these companies need to do better.
