Just lift your rolling basket when it’s wet harrows don’t do a good job in my opinion

I like my case 345 because of the hydraulic rolling basket and you can lift it out of the way in the fall and disk then put it back down in the spring on my gumbo

We have a Krause ripper that we have owned for 6 years and this is the first year we could use the rolling basket when getting my tillage done before that rain. Will probably come off for next year

Only bad thing with harrows is they plug if there is lots of corn residue

It does suck taking the pry bar and digging out the mud from the roller

Our ripper has nothing on the back, so we pull an old disc behind it. Works great

Couldn’t agree more. Spreading and leveling the ground makes a world of a difference no matter how agressive the tillage.

Not arguing with you but even the rubber roller works great this time of year.

rolling baskets hace nothing but problems. my dealer doesn't sell any new rippers with a basket. just harrows

we have a harrow on our 1 disc, it never really plugs unless you have mountains of trash. the baskets tend to wrap up in trash

In your typically heavy wet soils that’s the way to go. This year has been the exception to the rule.
