Also, the head of state and the head of government are 2 different ppl, federal president and federal chancellor, and the judicative (supreme court) is a detached non political institution

no thats is half wrong, with the first vote we vote our Präsident "Kanzler" and with the sevon vote we decide how many seats each Party gets.

Also no voting machines, voting booths with high enough walls so nobody can look into them, short waiting lines and you can’t take pictures or show your ballot to anyone!

Don’t think it would work. In that system the majority coalition would have the legislative and executive branches. Gives to much control to one coalition.

Germany has 5 main parties, the US has 2 main parties. Doesn't make any sense for the US to take this approach.
