An aspect that is often overlooked in the "all art is political" statement, is that it also encompasses that art is also influenced by political circumstances surrounding a piece of art. If we take the most bland AAA game made to be as accessible as possible by employing broad trends in gaming that are currently enjoyed. This game would be political, even without a deliberate statement. Its existence was shaped through our capitalist society pushing art as a thing to be bought and consumed. Thus the state of the game/ art reflects our political circumstances

Art isn't inherently political and we should be careful not to conflate the two bc it'll make the words meaningless. Art is about expressing ideas. Sometimes those ideas are political, sometimes 1/
