I work in retail our closing time is 9 PM. I lock the doors at 8:45. I’m usually alone and I have two cash drawers that need to be counted out before I leave so yes, I close early to do that

I work at a retail store and I used to closed but now I am the open cashier but we did the same thing closed at 8:50 if ant nobody there but once that door closed we cannot open again

just lazy employees. I worked at Dollar General for 6 years, doors per policy could not be closed and locked till closing time. Customers coming even 1 minute before closing, could not be refused.
