@minnieisaac_: There are no miracle products. This isn’t an exception. One product that works well for your skin isn’t going to replace protecting your skin with sunscreen in the AM, a really good cleansing routine in the PM and making sure it gets enough moisture from a moisturiser your skin loves. In saying that, Finecea has 15% azelaic acid and has just been wonderful for my skin, so I do want to make a real effort to share more about it because I do think it’s a bit of a hidden gem. Some people have had experiences with azelaic acid in a really inelegant (powdery, chalky) way and they haven’t enjoyed it and they’ve been turned off the product, but I think Finecea is really cosmetically elegant and that helps me use it even in the daytime, even under makeup. You can buy this online without speaking to a pharmacist, but your local pharmacy will most likely have it and it’s usually behind the counter if you’re in New South Wales. In other states it’s on the shelf It costs about $30. The only notable side effects that I’ve experienced is a little bit of itching when I first started using it, but it’s a really wonderful product especially if you have skin like mine which is very acne prone and loves to scar pigmented If you have any questions, let me know!
