@newscoolfm: The CEO of Foyle Women’s Aid, Marie Brown, says women don’t feel safe in Londonderry. It follows a recent spate of sexually motivated attacks in Derry. The PSNI says there’ll be an increased presence across the city. We’re also are due to hear more from Police after midday.

I went to women’s aid when false allegations were made against me to NSPCC that effected and terminated my employment on false grounds and effected my future employment till this day! I ask for advice

My dog and I walk this path every day so here’s some black bear safety tips if you’re in the same scenario. Black Bear Safety Tips 1. Stay Calm & Never Run 2. Make Yourself Big: Raise your arms, backpack, or jacket to appear larger. 3. Back Away Slowly 4. Carry Bear Spray • Always have bear spray accessible — not in your pack. • Know how to use it and deploy only if the bear approaches aggressively (within 10–20 feet). 5. Keep a Clean Campsite/Property • Avoid leaving pet food or bird feeders out. 6. Make Noise: before running into a bear, talk, sing, be loud so you don’t surprise them
