Hundreds of Valencia residents were badly hit by last week's floods as the death toll from the edged closer to 217 over the weekend. Protesters chanted, "murderers, murderers" as they slammed late alerts from authorities about the dangers of the flooding, and then a late response by the emergency services when disaster struck.
