I actually have accounts at two different banks … the one bank has the mortgage and my paycheck deposit … the other bank has accounts that are auto deposited and I don’t have an atm card for that bank

how do the rich use debt in their favor? they have the money to pay it off immediately should they need too, but instead of using that money for one thing they use the banks instead. having debt you can control is different to debts you can't control.

One thing I do and recommend everyone to do, is to use cash for purchases. Budget your “play” money and use cash for those purchases.

all my money goes into one account and everything back out of the same account. I have no idea what dates bill go out, that's always a surprise. I know I make enough that I shouldn't be broke

I totally have three. This is absolutely truth in helping put and then see what u have REALLY after money into bill account. Try it what do u have to loose? You might gain something :)

If you are a bit more advanced in the budgeting game I DO recommend splitting the money on at least two accounts, one of them a HYSA.
