yes they were ceramic and they didn't always have treats they had confetti... the ones that had treats had peanuts oranges and some candy

Well it kinda makes sense it would be ceramic, ceramic breaks much faster than cardboard when hit. So you get the candy explosion you would want. But I guess it is pretty dangerous for kids

Yep!! That was my childhood! Lol for Xmas they would put sugar cane and mandarin oranges. So you really gotta be careful 😂
