LINK IN MY BIO When I started this channel back in May 2023 I became fascinated by Wildbiome. A huge reason for starting this channel was about reclaiming sovereignty over my food and ultimately my health. As I’ve continued down this wild food road and come up against the natural and bureaucratic hurdles that separate us from eating off the land, I’ve realised how hard a 100% foraged diet would be. I thought it was impossible to live like that in 2024 in the UK, but the foragers on this wildbiome project are really pushing the boundary of what is possible. There seems to be a fear about connecting more people to foraged food as it may negatively impact wild spaces, but I believe the opposite is true. I feel that equipping the population with basic foraging knowledge will ultimately lead to greater awareness of habitat loss and deepen our connection nature even more, therefore being more invested in protecting it. And this is why I think this film is important, because it reminds me how deeply connected to the land I wouldve been, even just a few hundred years ago and how much more wildness I can bring into my life. #youarefromhere #wildbiome #foraging
