I’d say it’s battle prowess could be a full 3 stars for getting the amazing combo of Spider Web, Agility, and Baton Pass makes it a great support

Design wise, they have the abdomen face camouflage/defense mechanism, besides being the exact meaning of the attk scary face and mean look, wich were introduced in johto. Maube 1 star more for both

its concept is actually way more interesting than that. It gets the "Ari" part of its name from Aridane, a princess from Greek mythology who helped Theseus by giving him a ball of thread to lead him home. This is reflected in the Pokedex which describes Ariados using its thread to lead it back to its den after hunting
