The daycare my daughter went too would have lessons on body safety. We were already talking about it at home, but it was great that it was being reinforced outside the home as well! She would come home wanting to talk about it.

We've taught right touch/wrong touch but more importantly right/person/wrong person since our 3 kids were old enough. That and age appropriate words for body parts.

my friend had a child and after her release a man turned up and said he was a doctor. he gave her an examination. I worry about telling kids doctors can touch you.i think doctors need to have parents or nurses there always.

It's important that we have these conversations with children however we shouldn't expect children to protect themselves. It is still our responsibility to educate ourselves and act to protect kids
