When I lived at home 10 years ago I thought I was getting ripped off coz my rent went from 20$ to 25$ a week these days id happily pay that 😂

on my 18th birthday I paid my first $300 rent payment to my mother. Would have been nice to get it back like that when I moved out.

I've been planning on doing this with my kids when they are old enough to work, but instead of a set amount I was going to do a set percentage so it's more fair when one makes more $ then the other.
