@putting_the_b_in_bpd: Healthy relationships and friendships are such an illusive thing for neurodivergent people. It has taken me years to understand that friendship is supposed to be an equal relationship. That you didnt have to be the butt of the joke all the time, that your friends are actually supposed to love and care about you, and actively SHOW that love and care. The older i have gotten the less tolerance i have for surface level friendships. Fake friendships where they keep you around as some kind of entertainment, but cant wait to degrade you once you are out of the room. It is important to spend more time on building validation from within, than it is to try to mould yourself to fit in 💜 #adhd #audhd #autism #neurodivergent #puttingthebinbpd #bpd
