I worked at a nursing home many years ago… brushing peoples teeth was always hard. They just don’t like it for whatever reason. 🙏🏻♥️

Lori there is a brush called a Collis Curve that you can purchase on Amazon I believe. It will do all surfaces at once and is much softer than those hospital ones which have bristles that are hard.

I know it's hard sometimes to get her to do things. I work on an alzheimer unit. if a resident gets upset sometimes I just stop and try again minutes later. you did a really good job.

Brushing your teeth with the nursing home toothbrushes is like brushing your teeth with a stick! It’s very uncomfortable because the bristles are so stiff. I’ve worked in nursing for 20 years.
