if you find venison gamey, look into aging it before butchering! not enough people do this, it's absolutely vital, makes the meat much more mild and tender, easily better than commercial beef.

I grew up eating black bear, it’s honestly comparable to grass fed beef! So delicious especially in stews

I have always wanted to try bear meat. I love venison, but rarely get to have it. My parent's are from NY/NJ and my mom grew up with hunted meat, so I have heard it's delicious.
